About US
The Pine View PeaceJam is a student-led service learning organization that works to better our community through social change.
Every year, we pick a theme to base our service around. This year's theme was Education and Community Development, in which we achieved numerous advances in literacy, education, and development of our community on multiple facets. Working with organizations such as Children's First, we've created long lasting partnerships between Pine View School students and the Sarasota community.
There are two branches of the Pine View PeaceJam. Ambassadors and Billion Acts.

The Billion Acts of Peace section of the Pine View PeaceJam that works to spread peace throughout our community through individual projects. Each Billion Acts member is expected to log at least one act of peace each year, and they are free to attend our weekly PeaceJam meetings. There may be an opportunity to attend the PeaceJam Southeast Conference during a weekend in March/April.
The PeaceJam Ambassadors program includes a group of approximately 10 students for each high school grade level which have a more intensive curriculum concerning social justice in our community. They are the student leaders of our school, coming from multiple student clubs on campus. They are all required to attend the PeaceJam Southeast Conference during a weekend in March/April.
